Philadelphia, PA -- Working with Freya Koss, head of the Pennsylvania Coalition for Mercury-free Dentistry, and Carol Ward, national vice-president of Dental Amalgam Mercury Syndrome Inc. (DAMS), Philadelphia Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown has scheduled a hearing addressing consumer right-to-know and the need for mercury separators.
Addressing both health and environmental concerns, the hearing will be Wed., May 30, 2007 at 1:00 p.m., at City Hall, room 400. Almost all states north and east of Pennsylvania (NY, NJ, most in New England) now mandate separators. Several states have right-to-know requirements.
The public is invited.
